My Sims 4 Game Reset!

I added some mods the wrong way (without extracting them I think) and then I loaded up my sims game and everything was gone. It acted like I was new to the game and wanted to give me tutorials like I have just started. All of my sims and their houses are gone. I checked my sims 4 saves folder and it has a bunch of slot.000000001.save.ver2 and similar stuff to that. Is there any way to recover my sims! Please help me ☹️
