my sims 4 live mode screen keeps glitching out

so i don't really know how to describe it, but i have a screenshot.

i've tried repairing sims4, restarting the EA app, recovering old saves, even making new saves, restarting my computer, and checking different household saves, but nothing i've tried has worked, and all of my saved games are affected. it's been like this for literal hours to the point where the idea of launching my pc across the room is becoming increasingly desirable. please help.

  • Hi nib98ugfq4jy

that looks like an issue with your graphics drivers. Moving this to the tech forum

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

    • Press Windows-Key + R
    • Type: DxDiag
    • Click on Save all Information.
    • Attach the Text File to your post

    Please help me!

I just recently updated the game and all my mods. I can log on, use CAS but as soon as I am in live mode I get this blue screen of death. I dont know how to fix it. I spent 3 hours last night scrolling through the forum trying to figure it out but nothing has worked.

I removed my mods folder, repaired my game three times,  restarted my computer, updated my computer...

I have no idea whats wrong.. Please help me I just wanna play the game. Here is a screen shot of the live mode, the DxDiag and the last exception I have.

  • Hi nib98ugfq4jy AChurchilly

apologies for the late answer. You both don't seem to have proper graphics drivers installed.

Best is if you go to the Dell Website and check if you can detect what you need there. I'm not very good in finding what you need so hopefully someone else can point you in the right direction if you can't find anything on your computer/Dell Website to install the drivers.

crinrict  asked me to find the correct driver for you.

    1. Go here. (Dell website for your Laptop.)
    2. Under "Find Specific driver" click on "Select Driver".
    3. On the next page make sure that Windows 11 is selected as OS.
    4. Under "Category" use the drop down menu to find "Video" and select it.
    5. The graphic driver you need will be display, download and install it.

According to the Dell webpage, there may be an NVIDIA GPU installed in your PC, but the DxDiag is not listing this device.
This could be due to hardware failure or simply because there is no NVIDIA GPU in your PC's configuration.

Do you know if you have a dedicated GPU in this machine?
