My Sims 4 game won't open

(Sorry for bad grammar it's late and I have been trying to figure this out for hours now) I need cc in my game. No cc is not an option. So I have a HUGE issue in my game. My game won't load up. It opens fine loads to the Sims 4 screen fine but then it freezes. I do have cc in my game. I have taken numerous pieces out but still no luck. I have taken my mods folder out from the sims 4 "thing" and that worked ok. I just can't find the mod that is doing this. I am crying right now. (Not a joke) I am very upset. I love this game with my heart and soul. I repaired my game but no luck. I need to find something that can detect bad cc. I do have the tray importer but I don't know how to find bad cc IN your mods folder. I am stumped. Please help me. I have also just got some new cc for a challenge I am doing called the up growth challenge. I pretty sure something is causing that I just don't know what PLEASE HELP ME. I am in desperate need of help!!

    Hi @bmalcolm73!

You can try some different things:

      • If your problem occurred after a certain mod haul, remove all these new mods (see if the game works), and then add back a few at a time, restarting the game in between until you see the problem occurring again. Remember that you can possible have several broken mods.
      • Search for the Mod Conflict Detector on google and run it, see if it can detect some broken mods, remove these and try your game again.
      • If the problem started after the latest patch/update, always make sure to update your mods when you update your game. Check this list out for some mods that were broken in the latest patch 🙂

    Good Luck!
