my sims 4 has frozen at the start up menu
my sims has had some issues in the past and i have managed to fix them, however when i opened the game it did all the normal animations ( sims 4, and the green plumbob ) then it got to the start menu...

@by3f3lisha Does nothing happen when you click on the buttons or do you get any error messages ?

yes, that what is happening, i thought about what i could do to fix the solution and i moved the mods folder to my desktop and then proceeded to open the game, it worked perfectly just without the cc. do you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? thank you for your help so far
- @by3f3lisha Sounds like you're using an outdated mod then.
Custom content can get outdated with patches. If it works when you remove your mods folder, then one or more mods/cc is no longer compatible with the game and you have to find those.
