My Sims 4 hasn't loaded for more than a week... Can somebody help me?

Last time I played was more than a week ago, and it went all pretty normal. I saved as always, and hours later, when I went back to play the game, it would automatically close when it reached the loading screen.

I have tried resetting my computer, resetting the EA app, signing out and loging in, desinstalling and installing the game again, clear the cache, leaving the game some time, removing the last saves, repairing the game in the EA app... Nothing works and I really don't know what to do anymore, I have already reported the problem a few times to the EA app and no response or anything.

Can somebody help me?😭

By the way, sorry if I'm not very clear, English isn't my first language. 😞

  • The same issue is happening to me. It's been 2 weeks since I last played. I tried everything (YouTube tutorials, removing all mods & cc's, clear cache and uninstalling) and still nothing works. I even tried creating a new EA account with a different email to start fresh and reinstall the game and It will just freeze while on start up and takes me back to the EA app. I think this is an EA issue. I saw a lot of posts here with the same problem.

    EA is not doing anything!

I see, thank you so much for replying, I was starting to get really confused already 😭😭

I've checked more posts on here and it seems like it's indeed an EA issue. Let's hope they fix it soon, I'm going to try and initiate the game again and see if there's any luck! 😊

  • 4rybvlwnl1b1  Do you still need help?  If so, please let me know whether you wiped your entire computer (reverted to factory settings) or did something less drastic.  Please also let me know whether you currently have any old saves or other user content from before this problem happened.  Reseting your computer would have erased all your data, of course, but there are ways to preserve it.

I'd like to see a dxdiag as well.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
