I'm having the exact same problem sorry I wasn't much help.
I had to completely uninstall everything and reinstall it, and now I'm having issues updating my Origin.
I think this happened when I install the Christmas content, I noticed the smaller wall mounted TV was glitching and that might have been the problem.
