My sims 4 says its updated but still wont let me play!!

I updated my sims 4 so i could play it only thing now is it keeps saying it needs to be updated to play. I do the update but it still wont let me play and says it needs to be updated, but i just updated it ?? SOMEBODY PLEEEASE HELP, its really starting to **bleep** me off 🙂
