Kernel-power 41 (Cat 63)

My PC is a 2 week old build, I have had no issues playing TS4 over the past 4 days, I have easily banked 50+ hours of gameplay already. However yesterday I purchased & installed 3 packs and updated the game alongside the 150+ bug updates that were released yesterday. My game will now not run for longer than 30mins, my entire PC shuts down & I have to reboot manually. I have error code kernel-power 41, which online points me to issues with my PSU. I don't have any CC or mods.

I will provide more details shortly but I am posting this in hope that others are having similar issues since the update? Maybe it's a big coincidence & my hardware is the issue, but I've heard that with these rollouts theres often some huge impacts to the games playability. And for my system to be running completely fine prior to this...? I am not hopeful. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate as I go about diagnosing & wishfully fixing this.

Possible issues:

  • Bug fix rollout has caused game crashing
  • Hardware issue - PSU?

A kernel-power issue is often caused by a faulty or inadequate PSU, but there are other reasons as well, as there is overheating, other hardware issues as in faulty RAM and so on.

Do you monitor your GPU and CPU temps?

Please add a DxDiag to your next reply.

A DxDiag is an overview of your PCs technical features and recent software errors.
There is no personal info in it expect for the “Machine name” in the second row.
(You might delete the “Machine name” and “Machine Id” line if you wish too.)

    How to create a DxDiag:

    1. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    2. Copy and past or type "DxDiag" in the new field. (Without the quotes) > ENTER
    3. Wait until the green bar is gone > Click on "Save all information"
    4. Save the file to your desktop.
    5. Here at EA Forum > Click Replay > Click the paper clip icon at the bottom of the replay Window.
    6. Navigate to the "DxDiag.txt" on your desktop > select the "DxDiag.txt" > click on "Open".
    7. Reply.
