my sims 4 seasons wont load with purchosing it on windows 10

are you talking about the game or the download ?

If you're talking about the game, are you using custom content or mods in your game ?

a lot of custom content/mods is outdated and needs updating.

Try removing everything and see if it then loads.

Hi, I've had the same issue on mac fro these last 10+ hours, I've tried restarting my computer and origin, cleared my cache, both turned cc off and removed it from my mods folder but origin just tells me that there is a network error.

I tried contacting ea's service chat but all the dude told me was to wait and that they were planing on putting a countdown on seasons on origin so that we can see when it's available (I'm in central european time so seasons should have been out for some time now)

I have the same problem. My Sims 4 Seasons was finished downloaded earlier this day and when i made an household and placed it in a house i couldnt load in as my household and it only works when i disable mods but i did and it still takes very long to load plus i only have one small mod.What should i do?

Remove all mods and CC. Then try the game.

I have that problem too! I can create a sim but when I choose a house or try to load a world it will either load forever or stop loading and go back to select a world! I have no clue what to do and when I try to close the game it won't let me! I have to restart I think but I'm not sure...

Same exact thing here! I’m so frustrated. It’s not due to my mods either. I checked. 😤😭

Go ahead and move your mods folder to the desktop, clear your game cache again to help with troubleshooting. Try playing the game again to test. If it loads okay, it may be that some of the mods/cc have become outdated.

Even if you don't have any mods/cc in your game try clearing the cache files.

If the above doesn't work, you might try a factory reset of Sims 4.

Move the Sims 4 folder from the Electronic Arts folder to the desktop, for testing purposes and to backup your Sims 4 files.

[Go to C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\ and click on the The Sims 4 folder, select Cut and paste it to the desktop.]

Run the game, start a new game save without mods or other saves, to see if the issue remains.

If all goes well with a new game. Copy your old saved games from the Sims 4 folder on your desktop to the new Sims 4 folder in [C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4].

Try playing one of the older saved games. If that goes okay, start to put back the other files and folders. (list of files and folders below).

- Options.ini (User game settings)
- Tray Folder (Sims/Houses/Commercial lots and rooms)
- Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
- Rest of the save games, if any.
(leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave. It is not used anymore.)
- Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, makeup
- Mods (Put these back one by one to make sure they all still work)
