My Sim's furniture and skin turns black

My sim family has been experiencing an issue with the furniture turning black.

At first, it was a gradual change, now, it's instantaneous. For example: I'll place a bed into a room, and in less than a day, the bed will have turned black. After deleting the bed and purchasing a different one, that bed will also turn black. At first this problem only occurred with flooring, but now it has spread to other means of furniture and even my sims. In fact, 20 minutes ago, I watched as my female sim came downstairs, with completely black skin. (Her skin details, hair, and clothing were not changed, however)

I do have CC and Mods installed, but this problem has occurred before I had any installed. For example:I reset my game, and took out all CC and Mods, and I played a new family. In less than two Sim days, my child's bed had turned black, as had the kitchen floor and counters, and the grill and all of my armchairs.

It has even gotten to the point where my furniture has seemingly "disappeared" until closer inspection. Once I zoom in, I am faced with black furniture that is flickering in and out of view.
