Need help with recent crash report

    @TheOtherSim  Did you at any point try to move the page file to your external SSD, or create a second page file there?  If so, that might be the reason you're seeing this error.  But regardless, the fastest way to (probably) fix it is to set the page file to zero, delete pagefile.sys, restart your computer, and set the page file back to Windows-managed.  You're already in the right location overall; click Change in your second screenshot to see the page file options.  And you'll want to set its size to zero for all drives.

    To delete pagefile.sys, you'll need to set File Explorer to show hidden files.  The file will be on the root level of the drive, so just C:\ if it's only on your C drive.

    Hopefully the Sims 4 issue won't show up again, but if it does, let me know.  And definitely keep backups of your saves and anything else you wouldn't want to lose, both now and in general.
