Neither The Sims 4 nor the EA app launches
When I try launching the game or the EA app it gives me an error.
For the Ea app the error note says: "There is a problem with the shortcut and that the 'EALauncher.exe' that this shortcut points to has changed or has been moved, so the shortcut will not work properly." It asks me if I want to delete the shortcut or not.
This also happens when I try to open the game itself from the start menu but instead of the things above it says the following things: "Origin is not installed and it is required to run the game. Please reinstall the Origin software."
The problem is, I never moved any game related things anywhere else and I never had Origin to begin with. I started playing with the EA app and used only that.
I'm very lost on what had happened and what I can do because the last time I played (2 weeks ago) I could play just fine.
@Virag2001 The first problem to fix here is the one with the EA App. It could be the only reason Sims 4 isn't working, so resolving it may fix both problems.
Please uninstall the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine). When reinstalling it, don't try to change its location, and definitely don't move around any of its folders. Just let me know whether it loads properly, and if so, whether you can launch Sims 4 from your game library.
