@bb41eeda5f905634 Please try playing while your computer is offline, just as a test. You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
If the game crashes again, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent Sims 4 crash, specifically while offline. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.
By the way, your system doesn't technically support Windows 11. It may be fine, especially right now, given that 11 hasn't diverged that much from 10 and the processor and motherboard are only one generation too old for 11. But if you notice more general system issues as time goes by, it's worth considering going back to 10, or rather installing a fresh copy of 10. That would of course erase everything on the drive, so it's not to be done lightly; it's simply something to keep in mind.

I did the offline mode; I got slightly further but still crashing. I also did the next step in Reliability Monitor and got this error
Description
The previous system shutdown at 11:35:05 AM on 12/6/2024 was unexpected.- puzzlezaddict9 months agoHero+
@bb41eeda5f905634 Please look for another error from the time the game crashed. The unexpected shutdown error can be a consequence of a crash but wouldn't normally be the cause here.
On the other hand, does your computer shut down and stay off, or does it restart on its own? The latter would suggest an issue with the power supply, although there are other causes. Sims 4 would definitely demand more power than everyday use.
