Hey, me again! So um, here's my problem, I decided to update my game and it does, however, it keeps going and going. I have a a lot of packs and I don't know how long will this last. It even does that when I repair the game. I think I have like uh, 35 packs? I don't how much that is. Should I just reinstall it again? My hard drive is a SSD drive. Or should I just wait?
I don't know what to do anymore. I tried every method I can and I still can't play the game. I tried everything. I am not playing it with mods or cc anymore. It still crashes! My graphics driver is updated, my computer meet the system requirements, I download the game on my hard drive, reinstalled it a couple of times, I wanna cry and bawl out my eyes. I don't think my laptop is suitable for this game anymore due to you guys updating the game. I don't know if I can download it on my computer drive because it would take too much space.

@seashellcats Please post a new dxdiag. Run it with your external drive plugged in and recognized.

Please also let me know whether a new save crashes, for comparison's sake.

Here's my Dxdiag. I really don't know if it's my lack of ram, or my hard drive.

I think I found my solution.(Hopefully) Knowing the fact I put the sims on a hard drive, EA app will tell me to press play but unfortunately, the game will not open up right? So I just remember that when I had my old hard drive it would do the exact same thing. Then I just unplug the hard drive and plug it back in and when it says "download" It would turn back into the play button. When I clicked the play button, the sims game would open. I think the lesson was if the game is not opening, either unplug the hard drive and plug it back in or restart my computer. I'm sorry that I was crashing out and being emotional. I was so sad that I can't play the sims at first. I thought my game was done with. Also, I can't understand why it crashes though a random moment.. but leave that problem to the side. I think I should use it if I'm actually playing the game and not leave it plugged in all day or night.

So here’s the thing, Earlier my sims game won’t open due to the fact I have avg antivirus, so I took it off. Then when I took it off, the game still wasn’t opening. I had no mods or cc. Once again, I downloaded on my hard drive. I really don’t know if my hard drive is the cost. My graphics card is up to date I have AMD Athlon Gold 3150 with Radeon Graphics CPU 2.40GHz, 8gb ram(5.92 gb usable). I don’t know if my hard drive or my graphics card or RAM. Everytime I press play, it crashes and it won’t load up the game. It just goes back to the EA app. So here I am now, trying to reset my laptop (again) and see if that works. 🙄😔
