I haven't seen anything, I updated around the time I got out of school so around 3:30-4 eastern time. From my understanding all updates were already pushed out by then. I only updated my game because I'm working on a save file and was planning on building another house, but I can't even do that because my saves are corrupted. I did all the troubleshooting actions like repairing, reinstalling, clearing the cache... etc etc. I can only wait atp
Ugh, so annoying. I hope they're actually working on it and not just sitting on their hands because it's not happening to enough people. That's always my worry. If it's not widely happening in the player base we might be waiting a while.

Hi im back again and I was able to fix the issue. Are you playing from windows? Or perhaps do you have any antivirus or protection software? For me, I have to manipulate the controlled app and folder access on my antivirus softwares and that fixed the issue right up! I provided screenshots below.

The update on Tuesday caused my system to have this problem for the first time ever. My antivirus is saying the TS4_x64.exe is a virus ( LOL ). I'm hoping the full update tomorrow will fix this issue so I can play again. Mods are off and my blank save game did the same. If not, I'll definitely use this as a fix. Thank you @RuizalliSims !

Unfortunately I couldn't any of the listed advice in this thread to work for me. I ended up switching my game over to Steam instead because the EA app is GARBAGE and I'm tired of dealing with it. Everything I had in the game transferred over thankfully, so if others are still running into this SDX problem switching over to Steam should work. But I appreciate everyone's advice! I'm glad others got it to work for them.

Since steam was brought up, I’ll mention again to anyone reading this who has this issue that I still haven’t had any problems in my game (via steam)
I also wanted to mention to anyone who sees this and is thinking about switching to Steam that you can’t delay game updates through steam (important for people like me who play with mods). In my experience, the steam servers seem to go down for maintenance and such more often than EAs servers (meaning you can’t play if they do) Not sure if there’s a way to switch back to the EA app either (which you’ll still need to have installed to play through steam)
I will say though that a few of the biggest bugs that have happened in the past few years seem to be a bit less…buggy? Than the EA app alone. Though I do still experience most of the bugs people with the EA app do.
