I'm having the same issue. No mods or CC installed. The other problem is when I move my sim from one house to another and keep all the furnishings, they don't come with me when I move. So I am having to refurnish my new house with furniture all over again. I haven't tried to load any of my older saves for fear of losing all the hard work I've put into them. I really hope they fix this soon, the game is so buggy and unplayable at this rate.
