no description for certain traits and things

My sims 4 has a bug. For every update or expansion pack I get, there's always something wrong. For example, I have just got the sims 4 get together and in the new world, characters have no description of their names or traits. Also, the new actions for clubs and things are blank. I don't know what it says and when I hover over to see what it says, it just has a small, blank bubble. If anyone else has this and knows how to get rid of it, please let me know.
