no mod folder

Hey, I've been playing the sims 4 since it came out, and i recently downloaded it on my new laptop. I loaded up the game one time to make the folders i needed, but there is no mods folder? I will attach a screenshot (I have it saved on an external hard drive as my computer does not have enough storage for the game)
