No Woohoo Option

With all due respect, I deleted all mods. Problem is not the mods. Also, the game is up-to-date.

In addition, even if it were a mod, hw can a mod--no longer in the game--effect only a past save and not the new game. Even after I re-installed all of the mods I like.

I have two saves prior to the new game.  Both of those saves are corrupted.

What I miss the most is the house with all the awards I amassed over the past years!

Would you be willing to share your save with me ?

When I discussed this at length with Deaderpool and his gang, I went through deleting everything in the Mods folder, which included a lot of downloaded clothes and a few other items from the Internet. I also took out MC Command Center. I even deleted everything from Wicked Sims. Still had the woohoo problem as described.

Then I put almost everything back, bit by bit, still talking to Deaderpool. The MC Command Center and Wicked Sims, all updated.

The new game ran fine and still does. The older games (saves), no woohoo.
