non-transparent pools


hello,

I play on laptop but with all the options in "high" and the game works fine.

But my pools have a little problem. The water is absolutely not transparent, it looks like my sims swim in the opaque jelly. I can not even put decorations or lights in the pool because we do not see them.
When I uncheck the laptop mode, the pools are transparent but my game become very slow.

Is it normal that the pools are and when we play mode laptop?

    What kind of graphics card do you have ?

    Seems a rather common issue if played in laptop mode but I'm unsure if it's true for everyone.

    I will try this out tomorrow to see if my game acts the same in laptop mode.

    Not an Intel Chip issue then as many others.

    Drivers are updated, right ?

    Got the same question from one of the users on my site. So here is a solution that helped him. It is surely a laptop mode issue.

    1. Turn off laptop mode in the game.

    2. Restart game with new parameters.

    3. Check if the problem is gone.

    OP tried that and it works but the game lags afterwards so they're looking for a different solution.

    Hey! with the new update, my pools are transparent! So problem solved! 🙂

    Yes, laptop mode. I just download and install the update by opening the game today, and the problem is gone.
    It's probably a problem to be corrected in the EA update because I did not do anything special on my side.
