none of my sims 4 households are saving

i have had sims for about a week now as i just got a new laptop. i started of with building a house that i was very proud of but then it got late so i saved the game and went to bed, when i went to check it next nothing was there and i thought it was just me not saving it right but i has now hapend 5 times! i am so very confused and i would love to be able to play the sims without having it all delete the next day i would like to have all me people and houses there and it not making me start a new game everytime i try to build somthing. Anyone have an idea on how to fix it?

How do you 'start' your game when trying to find the last one? Next time, also try to 'save as' and give it a special name - easier to find as well.
1: If you click the 'arrow' like in the picture, it will take you to the last game you 'opened'. so, every time you've 'tried' it may be a 'new game' so there may be a few there..
2: Try the 'load game' under 'new game'.. and see if you can find it.. or also go the the first one there also, if no sims were created it may not have an icon (like in my pic with the sim.. there is more than a few games that are 'saved')

i went under load games and all my families are there! Although i have all my families when ever i go to the map its empty and i would like t be able to see them all that way. If it is not possible i will just suck it up but i would prefer to see them.

Hi @emmagradyyyxx I'm so glad, ok well every 'picture' connects to a 'saved game' so to load one is to load that 'game'.. Seems that you must have inadvertently started a new game with each family you've made the best way to fix this is to create a new 'game' name it as in 'save as' not just 'save'.. load each family and lot either from your gallery / library as it saves when you make them in cas, or load each game with a family you want to save and save them again to the library - especially if you've worked on them, getting their skills and or career going etc.
Once you have made a save of each family and lot to your Gallery - load your game that you'll name, and in 'world view', load each lot and family into the new game, you don't even need to 'enter' any of them in live mode, then once all your families and lots are there, save with just 'save' or save as again with a new name to be sure; like Testing 1
