Notification says install newest version....

I did not have automatic updates turned on, I have since turned them on. I have updated (a few times today 6/14/2015) which should have been a clue something was wrong, as it was the same update. When I try to load my game now I get a notification "The save game you are attempting to load was saved with a newer version of The Sims 4 than is currently installed. Please update in order to safely load this save game." This is when I turned automatic updates on. I restarted the computer and tried loading it again, with no luck.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a fix or am I doomed to restart?
