Now find I can't place any TV on any TV stand!

Honestly, EA/Maxis, how much more broken is the game going to get...?!

I have tried 4 different lots in four different locations (spent almost an hour thoroughly testing). If I enter a Maxis built property where there are TVs on stands, they're on stands but, if I take a TV off a stand and attempt to replace it, I get the same problem as if I try to put a TV on a stand myself (see screenshot). The screenshot is just an example, I literally have tried every single combination of TVs and stands.

Just to reiterate:

I have everything up to - and including - Cats and Dogs.

I have NEVER installed any custom content.

No cheats were in use whilst testing.

I have repaired the game.

Playing on a MacBook Pro, running High Sierra. Has anyone else found this...? 

To be perfectly honest, I'm just about done with the game; too much is broken, there's too much that's completely nonsensical (you can have a toddler taken away because you've forgotten to feed them, but not because you've allowed them to wander around town on their own...?! And how the * does a toddler know where 'home' is...?! It's like Maxis has never interacted with actual, real, children! I have an entire, long, list, but that's the one that springs instantly to mind).

I have over £300 invested in the game, but I'm just going to have to write it off, because I'm hardly going to be able to get a refund, am I...? (although I'm pretty certain that, under the terms of the Sale of Goods and Services Act, I'm fully entitled to one).

Really, REALLY, not happy right now... 😠😡🤬🤯
