on my sims 4 age bar it doesnt show how many days till they age up

On my sims age bar i won't tell me how many days till the age up and elders won't die of old age I can however still age them up but its really annoying and i need my sims to automatically age up for...

    Can you try turning aging off and then play for maybe 5 min, then turn it on again to see if that makes a difference ?

Shall try it when at home & let you know. Oh it has been doing this only since the latest sims 4 patch update - not sure if that helps.
