Origin Crashes with new update

Hi, Everytime I open my Origin client it automatically starts downloading the newest update for the sims 4. After a minute or two it suddenly stops downloading, freezes and then crashes. I've looked...

Thank you for your help.

I tried to do everything listed in there but the problem continued.

Meanwhile I asked one of my friends for help, and she told me to look for the mods I had installed. She told me to removed them from the mods folder and try to update the game. I did it and it worked!

I hope this might help other players that are having the same problem as I did. It's as simple as removing/uninstalling all the mods we have in the game and it will run again.
