Origin servers temporarily unavailable 2020

Just bought sims 4 and downloaded origin. Message keeps popping up saying ‘origin serves temporarily unavaliable’ and my game library is empty ☹️ I am now worried I’ve paid and wasted/lost my money. Have tried resetting/logging in and out etc. Haven’t even been able to play the game! Not a great first start! Using a normal pc.

    I Just bought the Sims 4 for my lap top and I cant even get started because origin online log in is unavailable i am pissed because I cant even play a game I paid 40 for. There is no way to reach them and I think this is terrible customer service. I have loved EA games for a long time. but this is frustrating beyond words. come on people get your * back online

    Hi @mommom5757,

    This thread and the advise in it was regarding a temporary issue with the servers from two months ago. If you're having issues with getting online now, it wouldn't be caused by the same issue being discussed here.


    Could you open a new thread please for your issue and add any relevant information you feel would be good to know. Also it would help to list what troubleshooting steps you've already completed too.

    I'll lock this thread here in the meantime to limit mixing issues.
