Origin won't let me play the Sims 4

I need help. DESPERATELY.

I've tried looking for help in the spanish forum, but i didn't get a good, solid solution. The only thing i got was "call the origin help center bla bla bla" I'M TOO ANXIOUS TO DO THAT MAN! So that's why i came here (and why my english is....meh i guess...)

WHAT'S HAPPENING IS THE FOLLOWING:

I want to play The Sims 4, i click on the direct access on my desktop, it loads a bit like it's gonna open the game BUT THEN ORIGIN POPS UP. NOT. THE. GAME.

WITH NO ERROR MESSAGE AT ALL, ORIGIN JUST POPS UP LIKE IF I NEVER PRESSED PLAY.

I've tried deleting Origin's cache, deleting and downloading it again, i checked if it was a problem with my cc, tried cleaning my computer and....YOU GUESSED IT. NOTHING. I. KEEP. GETTING. THE. SAME. RESPONSE. Origin pops up, i click "play" on the sims AND IT POPS UP AGAIN.

EXTRA INFO: I have an HP LAPTOP, 64 BITS (idk if that is important or not...), WITH WINDOWS 7, AND IT'S BEEN DOING THIS FOR OVER A MONTH I REALLY NEED HELP I JUST WANNA PLAY THE SIMS.

Thank you in advance, that is, if you give me a good solution.

Toni.

    - Try to launch the game from Origin. Open "My games Library" and click on the TS4. You should have the option "Play"

    - If you have any mods move the mods folder to the desktop, delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder. Delete also all folders with the word "cache" in the name and try the launch the game.
If it will work paste your scripts mods from the desktop into the new mods folder one by one every time checking if your game is working, Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method. (Divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)

    - If it will not work move the game folder to the desktop and try to launch the game

    - If it also will not work check if your firewall isn't blocking the game. Turn it off or add the game to exceptions.

    Edit:

If the game still will not work could you post your computer's DxDiag?
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/
(Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
Copy and paste or type "DxDiag" in the new field. (Without the quotes) > ENTER
Wait until the green bar is gone > Click on "Save all information"
Save the file to your desktop)
Here at AHQ > click on "Reply" > click on "choose file" > navigate to the "DxDiag.txt" on your desktop. > select the "DxDiag.txt" > click on "Open"
Type a few words in the text box > click on "Submit"

    I don't work for EA

@BabyVdetixx  The Nvidia graphics driver is crashing and taking Sims 4 down with it.  So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver, as described here:

    https://crinrict.com/blog/2019/02/clean-re-install-of-graphics-drivers-with-display-driver-uninstaller-ddu.html

You can get the last Nvidia driver that supports your graphics card here:

    https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/132845/en-us/

If you still can't play, please post a new dxdiag.

@Ads123fr  Do you mean the EA App, or do you still have Origin installed on this computer?

Please also try pausing OneDrive syncing before launching the game, that is if OneDrive is running at all.

@Ads123fr  If OneDrive is running, there should be a little cloud icon in the lower-right corner of your screen.  Right-click that and you'll see a number of options, including one to pause syncing for a certain period of time.

@Ads123fr  Create a new admin Windows account on this computer and try playing in that.  Make it local, as in, don't add your Microsoft-associated email when creating the account.  And be sure to give it admin permissions after you've created it.

Sign into that account and try to play.  Your saves and other user data won't be available, but we can fix that later.  For now, just test.
