Origin won't update the sims 4 to Patch 1.0.732.20

Whenever I open Origin, it tells me the sims 4 needs to be udpated: - Tried cliking Update Now link on the game cover but nothing happened - Clicked Play and tried clicking update button but still ...

@hohlagh If you restart your machine in Safe Mode with Networking, you can test to see if the game updates in a clean environment. The game won't run like this(various vital drivers won't load), but if the game updates correctly it should work upon a normal mode restart.
