Package files for the Sims 4 are showing up as sims3.package files?

I noticed when organizing my mods folder earlier that all of my Sims 4 content now says that they're "sims3.package" files... I'm PRETTY sure that they're not supposed to be called that... Will they s...

You have likely installed a tool that changes the displayed name of the file type. This doesn't change any of the files and will not cause any problems.
