@puzzlezaddict Tonight I tried to play Sims starting at the 20min mark.but I only got down to 15:39mark before the computer sort of froze up and said "montior going to sleep" and sort of shut itself off. I screwed up the files from the other week..so it means I can't post the log in any format which isn't a spreedsheet https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qhOBeQo2Fj86Y8TErAEo4N-ALV9PzIBC/view?usp=sharing
@Madamelee I'm sorry I didn't get to your hwinfo log last night; I just ran out of time. I can't see the log you uploaded yesterday (August 31). The one from today (September 1) looks fine though: temperatures are good, the CPU and GPU loads look normal, and there's nothing else obvious that would explain your computer shutting down. The crash dumps are from Origin, and I saw you were having trouble with it a couple days ago, which corresponds to the timestamps on the logs. So if this is all the dump files you can find, that means the Sims 4 crashes aren't generating any dumps of their own.
Since we're probably back to software now, rather than hardware, try playing in a clean boot. Don't open anything at all except for Origin and Sims 4. And play in a clean user data folder while testing this. I know you use mods during normal gameplay, but it's important to test with as few complicating factors as possible. Here's how to do a clean boot:
