@limitedvaeh That error isn't a surprise, but it does suggest that this problem is on the hardware side rather than software. Please check your CPU and GPU temperatures with hwinfo, or if you prefer, another app that shows both, and let me know what you see.
Before playing the sims 4, my GPU is 135.0 and my maximum my CPU goes is 2494. After opening the sims 4 my GPU keeps jumping up to 1073.8 but over time it goes down. My CPU stays mostly the same.

@limitedvaeh These are not valid values for temperature. Are you actually seeing those numbers, or are you looking at different readings?

Im honestly not for sure but im looking at where it says GPU and it has NVIDIA under "current clocks"

@limitedvaeh When you open hwinfo, choose Sensors Only, then scroll to the GPU section. Look for an icon that looks like an old-school thermometer; the unit will show as º, as in, degrees. The value should be around 35-50º C without Sims 4 open.
The CPU temperatures will be by core, as in, each core will have its own reading. They'll have the same icon. If you don't see them, expand each section until you find them.
