    Hi @DaianaDomC

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

  • Hi @DaianaDomC

After removing all your custom content, did you take pics again and they were still black or just the ones that were already black ?

Did you try starting a new game with all cc/mods removed to see if you still get the issue ?

  • Yes, i did that. They were still black, and the ones that were already black.
Yes i tried and the problem is the same☹️

@DaianaDomC I have tried but cannot reproduce this behavior in my game.  Photography is functioning properly, whether my sim uses their camera or phone.  I know you already tried some troubleshooting steps, but please try the following: 1) Remove all mods/CC, 2) Clear your cache, 3) Repair the game via Origin, 4) Start a new save, 5) Test photography in the new save (you can quickly cheat up a sim's photography skill in the new save for testing purposes (see guide here).

Edit:  I see Crin gave you testing steps above too.  I'll leave my steps as well, although either approach should equate to a clean game.  As she says, if photography works properly in a new save, you'll want to be careful of adding CC/mods back in.  It could also be due to corruption in an older save.

  • I followed al your steps and it worked! But, i remove screenshots, videos, custom music, tray folder, mods, and the slot_00000001.save what i can do?
  • It works! I'm so happy

And what i do with the  new Sims 4 folder  recreated in my documents\electronicArts folder?

The new folder should be the one you're game is using now. You can start putting stuff back you want to keep. Mods carefully one by one and see if the issue reoccurs.

You don't need to put any cache files back. Once you're done, you can delete the backup.

  • I have one question, if i have origin deactivate in my game i need to activate origin in my game?

You don't really need it. Origin in game is for chatting and browsing and some other stuff while you're playing and it's given issues with the Sims 4 in the past.
