Plagiarism!
I'm curious about how we can fix the issue of people downloading other people's work and re-uploading it to the gallery as their own work? Like, without making any serious changes. And they don't give credit to the owner. I noticed this with a very popular water park someone created and this gives me some concern. I don't want people to take credit for something I put a lot of effort into.
Technically, when you upload stuff to the Gallery, it becomes property of EA. You're agreeing to that by accepting their TOS.
That said, I know it's frustrating to have others upload your stuff but it's been an issue with the Exchange in Sims 3 too and I'm afraid, there's not much you can do about it. With the Original by tags, they at least try to implement measurements but there's always workarounds.
You can try report the things too.
Other than that, I don't think there's much you can do other than not upload/share your things.
Think of it like this: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery :D
