Play Button Faded grey won't let me play. HELP PLEASE!

My Sims 4 game won't let me play it. It said that it had an update so I clicked "Update Now" and it would do nothing I did that a couple of times over again then I finally just clicked the "X" button on the thing for the update and now I still can't play my game. So I Restarted my PC and load Origin again and i still can't play it. Please help I have no clue what to do. (FYI the "Play" button is faded out to where i can't click it)
