Play the sims 4 in another language

Hi, I had to repair game files for the game because one of the packs got bugged. After repairing, the language changed automatically from Spanish to English. Now I can only install the game in English and won't allow me to install it in a different language. Also, because of the path used for installation changes when having a different language I have lost all of my savegames. 

I've tried multiple workarounds like editing the locale value on the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Maxis\The Sims 4, but the game won't launch unless I repair files again, and while doing so it would get reverted to English. I also tried uninstalling and installing again the whole EA desktop app with no luck. 

I wonder why we got forced to update from Origin to EA desktop when Origin used to worked way way better.
