Alright, I did close it and reopen it, but before doing so I was in create a sim for a while. I went and checked on the texture and it looked like the first picture. I then closed the game and opened it again, and it looked like the second picture. This isn't a big deal for me, but I wanna bring up the issue to be on the safe side.
did check that in my game and it looks normal there.
You picked 0-9% repro rate in your game, does that mean, you only see it very rarely ? If so, any pattern when it occurs ?

I just looked at the bookcase and it seems fine fine for now, but I don't know how long that will be for.

@KitzyPrincess18 if you haven't already, please try the following: 1) remove any mods/CC (I know you said you don't have them, but double-check your mods folder just to be sure), 2) clear your cache, 3) repair the game via Origin, 4) start a new save, and 5) test the bookcase in your new save. I have seen this bug with objects in the past, and it is usually caused by CC or corruption.
