Problems since the update

Ever since this latest update installed I have been having a lot of glitches. The other night one of my characters completely disappeared, like I could make him do actions and it even showed the little diamond thing when he was in places but you could not see him. And then today I opened the game and you could see him just fine but it wont let any of my sims cook meals of any sort. They had to order pizza because they were all starving and it keeps taking my money but wont let them cook. People have been walking through eachother and sitting on eachother and its all getting super annoying! 

I love this game and am planning on buying the new expansion packs when i have the money but would prefer these problems get fixed first. I saw something about resetting through origin but I do not want to lose everything i have made.

    Try repairing the game through Origin. Close the game, then right click on the Game in Origin and choose repair game.

    wouldn't i lose everything ive done then?

    Thats Been Happinng To Me 2... IDK What Is Happening except my problem is worse... my game wont even start...
