Random crash

Hi, i'm lately experiencing random crash, after last game pack and patches. I have made a clean installation and tryied to play without any mod or cc and still crashing on new game after few minutes....

    @Ciufer  Please try disabling XMP and CPU Turbo Boost (or similar) in your computer's BIOS.  A few players with similar configurations have reported that this stopped their random Sims 4 crashes.

    If this doesn't help, or it does but you don't like the results, please list the exact model motherboard you have.  Asus has started rolling out fixes for some instability issues, and I can check if your board has an updated BIOS version that might help.

Yeah, I've had that issue too with The Sims 4. It’s so frustrating when it just crashes out of nowhere. Mine keeps crashing at the opening menu. I've repaired this game 4 times now! I haven't been able to start a new game for two months now (since Lovestruck came out). When Lovestruck dropped it corrupted my save file so I had to delete it.

    @Neese2297  If you'd like help, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

    If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

      @puzzlezaddict hi, i'm back with an update after the game patch (18/09/2024): i have the same issue again. After a while minutes it crashes. I'm truly sad for this (and a bit angry); i don't know what to do ☹️ i can't believe the game could reach such a livel of instability after 10 year of development. I've never had such trouble like this during all this time. I'm so sorry for this rant but i'm so frustrated.

        @Ciufer  If you have any files in ConfigOverride, please remove them.  And remove your Mods folder as well, if it has any content—this patch broke some content, and it also forced DirectX 11 mode on some systems, with which some mods are not yet compatible.

        Otherwise, please post a new dxdiag.
