Okay I will try that. And yes, the update starts, takes about an hour and 30 minutes to get 100%, but it never finalizes and just.stays at 100%

I have encountered another problem. Now when I load the game and select the house hold I want to play it, it goes through the loading screen, then this pops up "The game failed to load. Error Code: 102:6ee24dd4:656c7982. It is recommended that you relaunch the game." But if I relaunch the game, it does the same thing

are you using custom content or mods in your game ?
a lot of custom content/mods is outdated and needs updating.
Try removing everything and see if it then loads.
If it does, narrow down which one it could be,

This time the game actually let me play for a minute, then it crashed 💔😞
