Hey,
I did the dxdiag scan and all. What's this for?
@Vikoyuni The dxdiag lists your hardware, plus other information like the dates and versions of installed drivers, Windows errors, that kind of thing. It's a useful overview to look for any issues that might need to be addressed.
In your case, your processor and graphics card could handle Sims 4 on medium settings, more or less—maybe a high setting or two if you only install the base game and a couple packs, maybe low-medium if you load up on custom content. It's fine to experiment a bit with the settings to see how the game runs; you can always adjust if you want.
One thing to be careful of is your free storage. Your 120 GB drive currently has 85 GB free. Even if you install the entire game, you'll still have about half of that left—the base game is 15 GB, all packs together are about 40. But if you start adding a lot of custom content, you could use up that free space quickly. It's a good idea to try to keep more than 20 GB free at all times.
You can see your free and total storage by opening a File Explorer window and clicking on This PC. This isn't a huge concern, just something to keep an eye on if you do start downloading content.
I have the same laptop but everytime i get to the stage that says download origin i go to download it and it fails do you know what i could do to fix that i really just want to play the game
@aaalayshiaaa When you say you get to the stage where you download Origin, what process is this? (Are you trying to install via disc?) You can download the full Origin installer from here:
http://download.dm.origin.com/origin/live/OriginSetup.exe
Run it as an admin: right-click on the download and select "Run as administrator."
Thank you so much!
