Re: Cannot load my custom content

Where custom content appears in in the game is up to the creator of the content. Not all of the items will have an icon of their own, and some bits of content will be in strange places (like under the face paint category).

Most creators mention where the content will appear in the game somewhere on their website. I would try looking there for more clues.

On another note, please don't create multiple posts about the same issue. It clutters the forum.

No,i searched everywhere but the cc is not there ....what can i do?

  • You will need to look at where you downloaded the content from and see if the creator of the content mentioned where you can find it in the game. If you do not see it listed where they explained it should be, then you will either need to redownload the content, or find some that does work for you.

Are you placing .package files in your Mods folder, or .zip files?

I am placing .package files .....i made a research before minute but the when i log in again there is list of the things which i downloaded but in CAS the things are not there

  • Do you have a link to any of the custom content? Maybe I can try taking a look and see if it works for me. If it does work for me, then maybe there's something we can do with your game to help. If it doesn't, then it might just be bad custom content.

If you can not understand me i will take a screenshot 🙂

  • I'm taking a look at the Stealthic hair you linked me to (I actually already have this hair in my game!), and it looks like the creator says the content won't work correctly if your game is not up to date or if your game is running in laptop mode. I also have an eyelash mod, and I know that it doesn't work correctly in laptop mode either.

Please check your game settings and make sure laptop mode is not on. Once you've checked that, exit your game and temporarily remove your Mods folder. Go to Origin and right-click on The Sims 4 and "Check for Updates." If there are no pending updates, then right-click and "Repair game," instead. After the repair is done, move your Mods folder back to the correct location and try again.

Let me know how it goes!
