Thank you for the suggestion, but it did not solve the issue. I cleared the cache, no CC anymore. Is there anything else I could try?

Well, I ended up restoring a previous save game where my Sim still lived at home and not in the dorm. Didn't lose too much progress and the game works perfectly.
