That's weird, I used a couple of cheats while I was playing yesterday without any issues. You are enabling testingcheats before trying to use the other cheats, right?

Could you try this?:

1. With the game closed, go to Documents \ Electronic Arts.
2. Rename the 'The Sims 4' folder to 'The Sims 4 nocheats'
3. Open your game. You won't find your save games, but this is normal so please, do not worry. Create a new game and try to use the cheats in there.

Are you having issues to use the cheats in this clean game also? Depending on the result of the test, I will tell you what to do next 😉
