@puzzlezaddict Thank you for your kind response. I must admit that I was both comforted and disturbed by the large number of players that were having the same problems as me. Fortunately, in my frantic search for answers, I think I eventually stumbled on your first reply to the first person with issues. I am not sure exactly if it was you or not tbh, but the suggestion was to reinstall Origin and try downloading the material that way. It worked, though there was this annoying message from EA blocking any further interaction until I had gone back to their APP again and then they promptly uninstalled Origin again. Still, I had managed to ignore them long enough to download all the relevant content. If that suggestion was yours then thank you; it was really helpful. Once again, thank you for your reply.
