Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 saves/user content disappearing (PC)

Hello, so I go in and out of phases where I play games. I have not played sims for almost 2 years and yesterday decided to play again. However, ALL of my households, gallery and anything saved is just gone. It´s like I just bought the game. Was just wondering if I missed some memo to bakup my households or if this is some bug. Would really appreaciate an answer. I had households that were several years old and now they´re just gone :(

    Hey! Typically when there's updates like the recent one and another one back in January you should always back up your saves to prevent things from disappearing. This past update that happened was brutal and messed up things in people's games im sorry that happened to you I would say look in your saves folder on ur computer like not the game  if there stuff in there but just for future updates always back up everything to prevent it from happening I hoped that help!

    Do you use OneDrive, iCloud, Dropbox, or any other cloud backup? Make sure your saves and tray folder are saved locally on the computer rather than offloaded to the cloud.
