@limmy1212 I was able to duplicate the error but I can't say if it was initially caused by a mod.

    To fix, do these steps

    1. Load any other family but the one in Brichester
    2. Exit back to Map
    3. Load your family in Brichster

    The family should now load.

I would first try if it works without mods/cc and then try just with your cc no mods. If you play the game with cc removed, everything will be replaced so I would try make sure it's not a mod re-causing it.

It could be a game error too, hard to tell. I noticed that the first thing happening is the question if you want to sign up for another term, so maybe there's some error.

Keep a copy in a safe place until you figured out your mods/cc
  • @crinrict It worked when i followed your instructions but when i exited the game and tried to load it without cc it still made the same error... I think the question popped up as it was my last term in the univeristy.

@limmy1212 It will occur again if you don't save.

So basically, put in cc, no mods. Then do the fix and save

Check if it now doesn't occur.

I have to admit I didn't test with saving. Will do that now.

    EDIT

Yeah, I made sure the Sim signed up for the next semester, then send him home, saved the game. No error on the next load.
