Ea repairing my sims 4 and updating issue help please

Hi I don't know who has had this issue but I'm a sims 4 player recently my sims moved to a hard drive correctly yet after that everytime I tried repairing it.It would finish and then start again and this would go on same with the update I don't know what to do I've now deleted ea and sims 4 and got it over again but I am scared I the future it happens again
