Re: Everything reverted back to old date (Save/cc)

@Tropsico   Look in the OneDrive folder. If you start the game BEFORE you enable OneDrive, OneDrive will only try to sync the new file. If you logged into Onedrive (enabling it) you can logout or configure OneDrive to not sync the Sims folder in your user documents folder.

Thank you for the answer, i see that a lot in these forums, but the thing is i never even enabled nor opened onedrive on my computer, i don't even have a microsoft/hotmail account. And when i think of it i used this pc back in 2018 as well, so these saves are from this machine.

@Tropsico the cloud does not forget. You don't need any accounts. Periodically OneDrive pops up and asks you to login like after an update. That's all it takes for OneDrive to start trying to sync.If things are disappearing from your user's documents folder this should be the first thing to check. I created my Microsoft account to get the free upgrade to Windows 10.

@Tropsico You don't have to log into OneDrive. Onedrive moves files from your documents folder to system device(C)/users/(user name)/OneDrive folder. When Onedrive prepares to sync files it moves newer files to this folder. Once Onedrive does this the game can longer find the games user files that were moved because the operating system and not the game moved the files.
