- Are you using custom content or mods in your game ? Not realted. Does not need answering anymore
- Do you have this issue only on a particular save game or on all of them ? All of them
- Can you start a new game for testing purposes ok ? Yes
- Do the backups of the saves work (Here's instructions how to access them) ? I did find one that worked.
- If they do, do they corrupt after a while too ? Yes
- Do you have any lastexception.txt files in documents\electronicarts\thesims4\ ? If so, please zip them up (all of them) and upload to mediafire or dropbox and post the link here. I do, but I don't have dropbox or media fire....
- If you are also willing to share your save games, please also zip them up and upload. If you don't want to share the links publicly, you can PM me, I'll pass them on.

- Have you been switching families or played one ? Just one (but moved houses)
- Do you remember what careers/aspiration the Sims in your household were in ? Business/the money aspiration where he wanted his house to be worth big bucks and Culinary/Food aspiration wanted to make excellent dishes and advance in culinary career.
- Are there children/teens in your family ? No
- If you started a new game and had this issue, did you put in an older Sims family or completly start over from scratch ? Start from scratch
- Anything else you think important (no rants please) ? Upon finding out that the backup worked, I began playing from that point saving very often and getting out to ensure that it still worked... not sure if it was a coincidence but after my sim was given a promotion in the culinary career I went to travel to another world and ended up at the map again. When scrolling over my family it says that they are at the place I wanted them to travel to, however can no longer access them (or anyone else). Oh and I have also already tried clicking 'repair game' in the origin menu a couple of times to no avail.
