@Simlena528 Is the EA App connected while you're playing? If it goes into offline mode, that would explain why the Gallery doesn't load either. And make sure your internet is working overall while you play—I've seen a few reports of a lost connection when Sims 4 launches.
Finally, is it possible that you're using an underage account? You should be able to see the birthdate associated with the account on your user profile page on ea.com.
